AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iran’s Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Major-General Mohammad Baqeri on Saturday congratulated the victory of the Palestinian people in a 12-day battle with the Zionist forces, saying the Islamic resistance now determines the fate of the battlefield.
Baqeri praised the resistance of the Palestinian fighters which led the Israeli government to announce a one-sided ceasefire 12 days after the beginning of the battle between the two sides.
He expressed certainty that the countdown to the promise of dismantling the Zionist regime is closing to zero.
Iran's armed forces regard support for the Palestinian resistance as a duty, the general said, adding that walking on this “holy path” will always be on the agenda of the Iranian forces.
